What events are available for me to compete in?
1. XCR - Cross Country and Road Racing. This is a 10 event season going from May to September including 4 relay events and 6 individual events which are also team events. Run for yourself and run for Club / Team points.

2. AVSL
  • this is interclub Track & Field. There are usually 10 - 12 rounds plus finals if we make it. 
  • clubs are in a division. We are currently in Division 2 of 5.
  • there are 2 metropolitan venues plus country venues. Most weeks between the 2 metro venues you should be able to find your favorite event each week. Otherwise just come to you home venue, which for us is Zone B, and compete with fellow club members.
  • compete for yourself and for Club points

3. Specialist Meets. There are meets for specific event groups:
  • VMC (Vic Milers Club)
  • Rare Air (Pole Vault and High Jump)
  • HVC (High Velocity Club)
  • AV Throwers
  • these events are not included in the AVSL package and entry fees must be paid when you enter.
  • these are individual events and there are no club points associated with these events

4. Championships. There are various Championships:
  • Relay Championships
  • State Track and Field Championships
  • Vic 5km Championships
  • Vic Mutli Events Championships
  • Vic Masters Championships
  • these events all require separate entry fees. The club pays for the Relay entry fees.

5. MPAC Club Events
  • we usually have some club events for the long distance runners
  • we run the Devilbend Fun Run
  • it is hoped that we can run events at our track in the near future such as a Mornington10 (10km track race event).
