Falls Creek Training Camp Wed 27th December 2017 - 18
It came close to being cancelled but the Falls Creek Training Camp is on again in 2017-2018. Check in on Wednesday 27th December and check out on Wednesday 3rd January.
NOTE. This year we have only booked 20 beds. There is the possibility to book extra if we know well enough in advance. Let Craig Mahony know or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The accommodation is at the Alpha Lodge where we had the last camp. Families and friends are welcome. Non members are also welcome.
You can do the set sessionswith our group, which are mainly aimed at middle distance on the track, or you can do your own thing. There are many trails to run on and it is a great place to train for those focusing on longer events such as Two Bays.
The lodge has accommodation for 35 people. This year we have booked for 20 only.
Apart from running, other possible activities include Mountain Bike Riding including downhill, Road Riding, walks/hikes, fishing, tennis(courts are for hire $10) and chilling out. Some triathletes were swimming a couple of years ago and some people have been seen on the dam in kayaks. It is
a great stress free environment.
